The first retail production variant of the new 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 recently went for $3.7 million at the renowned Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction. This bid matches the highest amount ever offered for a Barrett-Jackson charity vehicle. In 2022, the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 70th Anniversary Edition generated an equivalent sum. Every dollar from the sale will be contributed to the Red Cross to support relief efforts, with an aim to help communities across the country impacted by recent natural disasters such as floods and wildfires.

This year, Chevrolet awarded $165,000 in scholarships. They went to HBCU marketing and journalism interns! The National Newspaper Publishers Association and Chevrolet are partners. They ended the sixth year of the Discover the Unexpected program.

The 2023 Corvette Z06 was auctioned for $1 million at the Barrett-Jackson's Auction. The proceeds of this sale will benefit the Thurgood Marshall College Fund. It is a nonprofit organization that provides scholarships and support to students attending historically black colleges and universities.
