For the first time in its history, the Chevrolet Silverado nameplate will be available with an electrified powertrain. The 2024 Chevy Silverado EV adopts the Ultium Platform for a clean and silent drive on the road. Capable of towing a maximum of 8,000 pounds, the WT's electric powerplant is surely suitable for road trips and construction tasks. Operating on lithium-ion chemistry, a high-capacity battery pack is available for the Silverado EV RST First Edition. This high-end model will harness up to 664 hp from the battery pack, which could be fitted with 24 total modules. Based on GM's initial projections, this electric Chevy truck will cover approximately 400 miles between stops at charging stations. Thanks to a 350-kW charging adapter, you won't have to wait long to recharge the Li-ion unit. You'll appreciate the 100-mile/10-minute charging specification with the DC fast charger. The RST First Edition will also boast the Adaptive Air Suspension with multiple modes. This electric Chevy model is controlled by four-wheel steering and will deliver unprecedented versatility on narrow roads.

GM will add the default Chevy Safety Assist on the 2024 Silverado EV. The Automatic Emergency Braking and Following Distance Indicator will help you avoid close encounters with other cars that are ahead.
