Chevy enhanced the power and torque of its Duramax diesel powertrain for 2023. The majority of the equipment remains the same. The upgraded turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six Duramax is available for Custom Trail Boss, LT, RST, LT Trail Boss, LTZ, and High Country and now produces 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque, an increase of 28 horsepower and 35 pound-feet. The new diesel has greater power thanks to a reactivated turbo, new pistons with an improved combustion bowl, and new fuel injectors.

What Are the 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Trims & Features?

The Silverado WT is the model to purchase. It's for individuals that require a truck to pull, haul, and withstand wear and tear in the industry. The WT is the only Silverado with a Regular Cab layout. It has an option of regular or extended beds in addition to being outfitted with the essentials.

Heated side mirrors, an EZ Lift tailgate, and an improved suspension are all included with the Custom trim.

The dashes on the WT and Custom trucks differ from those in the LT. It has a 13.4-inch color infotainment touchscreen next to a 12.3-inch customizable instrument cluster that is much bigger.

Now with 495 pound-feet of torque, the 305-hp 3.0-liter inline-six Duramax is turbocharged.
