2022 Camaro Trims and Features

Base Trim (LT) Camaro Z28 performance trim offers an all-new naturally aspirated LT V-series engine and rear drive. All new SS models will be available with the option of a limited-slip differential to help make use of power on track days or when road racing in wet conditions. ZL/ZR Trims 2022 Camaro Turbo trims will have a new turbocharged all-aluminum LSA V-series engine under the hood capable of producing 640 horsepower and 640 lb of torque thanks to direct injection twin turbos with air intake charge cooling.

The SS trim will include a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, Brembo brakes, and Magnetic Ride Control. A six-speed manual transmission is available on the LT trim, with other trims receiving an eight-speed automatic gearbox.

2022 Chevrolet Camaro Horsepower

The Camaro will keep the current engine lineup. The first and more powerful model will feature a turbocharged four-cylinder that delivers up to 400 horsepower, followed by two V-type sixes with 350 and 450 hp, respectively.

All three engines are connected to a ten-speed automatic transmission. The V models also offer an optional six-speed manual with the same number of gears as their regular counterparts, while the turbocharged four has no choice; it is exclusively available with an automatic gearbox.
