    • Best Truck Value in the Truck Segment

For the money, the best truck value. I bought a 2018 Titan XD King Cab with the PRO-4X package. List price was over $53,000 and I paid a little over $39,000. The only package my truck does not have is the Titan Box, 360 camera view and ventilated seats. I tow a 7,500 lb travel trailer in Colorado. My previous truck was a Silverado 2500 Duramax. I thought I might miss the diesel compared to the Titan's 5.6 liter engine, but I haven't thus far. I towed the trailer to Glennwood Springs on I-70 and it handled the passes just fine. For those stuck on Ram, GM, or Ford, you're missing out on the best value in the truck market with Nissan. There is no way I would have gotten the same package as the PRO-4X at $39,000 vs. the Big 3 trucks. Essentially, I received 25% off list price for my Titan XD. That's money back in my pocket for other items I needed, namely a topper. People need to take a close look at the Titan and compare price and capability. What most consumers look at is towing when in fact the more important number is payload. The Titan XD gas has a payload of 2,500 lbs which is what I really needed. Take a second look at the Titan and you'll soon realize that it's a very capable truck with tremendous value.

for me, a 1/2 ton is not strong enough, but don't need a 3/4. this truck is perfect. also costs a lot less than big three comparables. it feels quick, but large. comfort is excellent but you do feel those bumps. the bed is awesome, with lights and moveable tie-downs. pulls an 8000 trailer with nothing but a hd hitch and ball with stability and remarkable acceleration. i have the trailer pkg and the off road pkg. i had a ram cummins, which was great, but i love my titan.
    • Work horse to tow my RV across the country

Purchased this truck with the intent of going across country with my 8000 lb TT. The trip out was 2700 miles and I crossed the Rockies near Denver. The 5.6 gasoline engine did fine and there was never a serious lack of power. Having the 7 speed transmission makes a difference. The return trip was 3700 miles due to stops and visits to a few National Parks. The mpg while towing is about 9.5 mpg, and one might get better mileage with the diesel, but the initial cost, maintenance and cost of diesel fuel just didn't seem worth it to me. I really like the technology and options on this truck. Not at all sorry I purchased this Titan XD.
