A twin-turbocharged, 5.5-liter DOHC V8 engine powers the record-smashing Corvette ZR1. Chevy rates this engine at a phenomenal 1,064 horsepower and 828 lb-ft of torque. Its flat-plane crankshaft enables a remarkable redline of 8,000 rpm. An eight-speed dual-clutch transmission efficiently channels power to the rear wheels. The Corvette ZR1 can hit 0-60 mph in only 2.3 seconds and cover the quarter-mile in 9.6 seconds.
